27/12/2012- Socialist Youth of PSM Condemns the brutal suppression of Tamil students in Jaffna

Socialist Youth of PSM Condemns the brutal suppression of Tamil students in Jaffna, Sri Lanka
We are Socialist Youth from Socialist Party of Malaysia strongly condemns the brutal harassments and arrest of students in Jaffna, Sri Lanka just on basis of participating in a peaceful protest to remember the people who lost their lives in the 30 years of bloody war.
The arrestment under the Prevention of Terrorism Act is just another prove that the state authority is using the 'national security' agenda as Malaysian federal government on its people to suppress the people's uprising.
We do believe that it is a basic human rights of any singular or group of people to express their views, peacefully without any harassments of the state. Thus, the arrest is clearly undemocratic and against the outcry of the Sri Lankan government on their balanced treatment of their oppositions.
We demand an immediate release of the arrested students.
Long Live Students Struggle!

Mahkamah Persekutuan akhirnya benarkan permohonan “leave” Dr. Jeyakumar
Semoga rakyat menjadi Tuan bagaimana wang mereka dibelanjakan.
Hidup Rakyat
